Case study: Energy efficiency as the most affordable way to reach net zero Visit of Alfa Laval
Alfa Laval and CCSF AuRa are happy to invite you to a visit of the Alfa Laval Vicarb facilities in Fontanil – Grenoble.
Industry collaborations between France and Sweden are stronger than ever. At the beginning of this year Alfa Laval in Lund received President Macron and the King of Sweden on the occasion of the French state visit to Sweden. On the visit, they were introduced to Alfa Laval’s work and innovation towards the green transition. A presentation of various energy chain innovations, including fossil-free steel heat exchangers and heat pumps were given as well as a demonstration of Alfa Laval’s hydrogen and nuclear power operations.
The case study in Fontanil aimes to continue displaying French-Swedish collaborations towards green solutions. Jo Vanhoren, President of the Business Unit of Welded Heat Exchangers at Alfal Laval, will lead the visit with a presentation of Alfa Laval’s approach to decarbonisation, before presenting 2 types of innovative and energy efficient heat exchangers:
- The compabloc heat exchangers used in existing energy-heavy industries to reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions through heat and energy recovery.
- The printed circuit heat exchangers used in new clean energy applications, like Hydrogen production and distribution, long duration energy storage and small nuclear reactors (SMRs).
